Mardi Gras – Great Yarmouth Style!

It was (unfortunately!) a wet Shrove Tuesday (or to give it it’s correct name – Fat Tuesday!) this afternoon when several attractions gave King Street a Mardi Gras look and feel.  This event was organised by Sea Change and despite the weather, many people turned out to see several performers performing and the parade, parading?? Under a marque were several themed stalls and, despite having had a good lunch, I had a ham & cheese pancake that tasted very nice, enhanced by the fact that our Worshipful Mayor Tony Smith had paid for it.  I feel certain that he will get me back in the near future!

I took a few photos and these are below.  If you run your mouse over them there is a description:

  • Hiya, nice day.. Your article is extremely impressive. I never considered that it was feasible to accomplish something like that until after I looked over your post. You certainly gave a great perception on exactly how this whole process works. I will make sure to return for more advice. Thanks

  • Hello – I must say, I’m impressed with your site. I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs and information was very easy to access. I found what I wanted in no time at all. Pretty awesome. Would appreciate it if you add forums or something, it would be a perfect way for your clients to interact. Great job

  • Have you ever considered adding more videos to your blog posts to keep the readers more entertained? I mean I just read through the entire article of yours and it was quite good but since I’m more of a visual learner,I found that to be more helpful well let me know how it turns out
