I attended a briefing at the Arena conducted by David Gladden and Gary Pettengel on the new Purple Flag initiative which sets out to demonstrate and strengthen the safety of night-time activities in our town/entertainment centres.  There were a number of people attending and many can be seen in the photographs below.  It was agreed that this was a good initiative and one that Great Yarmouth wished to be involved in and a further meeting would be held in the new year.
