Official Opening of New adiZone in Bradwell

The official opening of the new, adiZone facility on Great Yarmouth Borough Council owned Mill Lane Playing Field, Bradwell, will take place on Wednesday 25th November at 11am, with His Worship the Mayor, Cllr.Tony Smith and Gymnastic Olympic Medal Winner, Louis Smith who will be joined by pupils from local schools.

Great Yarmouth is the first adiZone co-funded project in the East of England  – a giant multi-sport outdoor gym venue aimed to inspire the local community to get involved in sport, installed. adiZones, designed and developed by adidas, are permanent installations measuring 625sq metres and boast sporting facilities inspired by Olympic and Paralympic sports that include a basketball, football and tennis area, a climbing wall, an outdoor gym and an open area to encourage dance, aerobics and gymnastics;  photo will be attached later.

This project is also supported by Great Yarmouth & Waveney NHS and Active Norfolk.
